Prime Infra, through its corporate social arm, Prime Infra Foundation, participated in the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela by rolling out activities that support school readiness, including the promotion of health and disaster preparedness.
From June 9 to 13, 2025, employee-volunteers of Prime Infra were mobilized in partner schools within host communities located in Batangas, Cavite, Cebu, Laguna, Pampanga, and Rizal.
The volunteers helped create a better learning environment by actively supporting school readiness through classroom and facility cleaning and repainting, basic repairs, equipment donations, and school supply distribution.
In Cebu and Rizal, Brigada Eskwela included medical missions dedicated to teachers.
“Recognizing the vital role of education, we have made this initiative a yearly commitment. This year, we also prioritized the well-being of our teachers to help them prepare for the responsibilities of another school year,” said the Prime Infra Foundation.
At the Pakil Senior High School in Laguna, emergency kits and safety hats were distributed to help strengthen the school’s disaster and risk reduction management.
“Magiging matagumpay po ang ating misyon na ihanda ang ating paaralan para sa pagbubukas ng klase. Muli nating papatunayan na ang edukasyon ay responsibilidad ng buong komunidad,” said Leah Mendiola, who works as a teacher at Pakil high school.
Meanwhile, Miriam Galleros, a day care worker at Barangay Gonzales in Pakil, Laguna, said that the emergency kits provided by Prime Infra will significantly enhance the day care center’s disaster preparedness.
Prime Infra Foundation has been showing its support for the nationwide Brigada Eskwela since 2023.
For this year, the company allocated over Php5 million for the initiative, covering 39 schools and benefiting close to 10,000 students and 400 teachers.
