With the recent announcement of the government to extend the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) for the entire Luzon until April 30, 2020, from the original April 12, WawaJVCo deemed it necessary to conduct another round of relief operations to various communities in Rodriguez, San Mateo and Antipolo City, all in the province of Rizal. We want to help and ensure that their basic needs are taken cared of during this difficult time. In this regard, several boxes of canned goods and sacks of rice were distributed to the barangays of San Rafael, Rodriguez, Pintong Bukawe, San Mateo and Calawis, Antipolo City.
These efforts are in coordination with the mayors of the local government units namely, Hon. Dennis Hernandez of the Municipality of Rodriguez, Hon. Cristina Diaz of the Municipality of San Mateo, and Hon. Andrea Ynares of the City of Antipolo. All of which are supported by the Province of Rizal under the leadership of Governor Rebecca Ynares.
We would like to assure our stakeholders in the area that even though we are focused on delivering the much needed water supply in Metro Manila by 2022, we are also fully committing ourselves in ensuring that the communities and partners are well in light of this pandemic. WawaJVCo will continue to conduct various CSR Projects for the betterment of the communities in its project area.
